Terms of Service

Welcome to Storich. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Storich grocery delivery platform, including our website and mobile web app. Please read them carefully before using our service.

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using Storich, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.

1. About Storich

Storich is an online grocery delivery platform based in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. We offer fresh farm produce, meat, seafood, and pantry essentials for individual purchase and group buying ("Group Buy"), with delivery within our covered zones in Benin City.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and place orders.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Delivery is currently available only within our covered zones in Benin City, Edo State. We verify your delivery address at checkout using location data.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.

3. Orders and Pricing

• All prices are displayed and charged in Nigerian Naira (NGN).
• Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time you place your order is the price you will be charged.
• Product availability is not guaranteed. If an item becomes unavailable after you have paid, we will contact you to offer a substitute or a full refund for that item.
• Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Storich reserves the right to accept or decline any order.
• You must select a valid delivery date at checkout. Please choose a date when someone will be available to receive the delivery and provide the OTP to the delivery agent.

4. Payment

• All payments are processed securely by Paystack. We do not store your card details.
• Payment must be completed in full before an order is confirmed and dispatched.
• We accept debit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods supported by Paystack.
• If a payment fails, your order will not be placed. Please verify your payment details and try again.

5. Delivery and OTP Confirmation

• After your payment is confirmed, a 4-digit One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered email address.
• At the time of delivery, our delivery agent will request this OTP from you. Do not share your OTP with anyone other than the Storich delivery agent at your door.
• Providing the OTP to the delivery agent constitutes your confirmation that the order has been received. The order will then be marked as delivered.
• Storich is not responsible for failed delivery due to an incorrect address, your unavailability at the selected delivery date and time, or refusal to provide the OTP.
• If delivery fails due to circumstances on our end, we will reschedule at no extra cost.

6. Cancellation

• You may cancel an order at any time before your selected delivery date for a full refund.
• Cancellations are not permitted on or after the selected delivery date. This is because perishable items are prepared and dispatched early on the delivery day.
• To cancel, go to your Orders page and select "Cancel Order". Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days.
• Storich reserves the right to cancel an order if an item becomes unavailable, a delivery zone issue arises, or fraud is suspected. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

7. Group Buy

• Group Buy allows multiple users to collectively purchase a bulk item at a wholesale price by filling all available slots.
• Each Group Buy has a share code, a minimum number of slots, and an expiry time. All slots must be filled before the Group Buy expires for the order to be placed.
• If the Group Buy does not fill before it expires, all participants receive a full refund automatically within 3–5 business days.
• Once a Group Buy is fully filled and the order is placed, the standard cancellation policy applies — cancellations are not permitted on or after the delivery date.
• Do not share Group Buy links with people you do not trust, as they will be purchasing with you.

8. AI Shopping Assistant

• Our AI Shopping Assistant helps you find products and negotiate prices. Any price agreed upon through the Assistant is binding and will be honoured at checkout.
• The Assistant does not have access to information beyond the Storich product catalogue. Do not use it for medical, financial, or legal advice.
• Storich is not liable for any decisions made based on the Assistant's responses.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false personal or delivery information
• Create multiple accounts to exploit promotions or offers
• Resell products purchased on Storich for commercial gain without our written permission
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt our systems or infrastructure
• Use our platform for any fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff or delivery agents

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Storich shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform, including delays due to traffic, weather, or force majeure events. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Edo State, Nigeria. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute amicably.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Storich after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
